Many Americans Believe the Search/Raid was Unconstitutional

The week of 8-13-2022 was extremely difficult for Ex-President Donald Trump, and many Americans think it was unconstitutional to search a president’s home. According to MSNBC, 41% of Americans believe that the Attorney General Merrick Garland has overstepped his authority and power.

Everyone in America has an opinion, and many on the right are ready to use their guns. Everywhere you look on the internet, the Trump supporters (MAGAs) are angry and upset, and violence is a solution to many. On Tuesday a Trump supporter shot a nail gun in Cincinnati’s FBI Office, and was eventually killed by the FBI.

To many on the right, they are calling for a civil war, even though the entire idea makes no sense. The Ex-President was wrong for removing classified documents from the White House, now some Americans want a civil war. Nothing has changed with the president, because he never told the truth when he was the president.

There is something wrong with Americans when 41% believe the ex-president is now telling the truth, and you can trust his statements and word. The attorney general tried to work with Trump for a year and a half, and now it was time to get serious with a warrant.

“You use a search warrant, and not a subpoena, when you don’t believe that the person is actually going to comply,” says Andrew Weissmann-A former FBI general counsel.

“For me, the biggest takeaway is that the attorney general of the United States had to make the determination that it was appropriate in this situation to proceed by search warrant because they could not be confident that the former president of the United States would comply with a grand-jury subpoena,” he added.

Everything started on Monday, when the FBI (a small army 40 or more agents) executed a search warrant at the Ex-President Trump’s home, which lasted for 12 hours. This raid sent shockwaves through the media, Washington D.C., and it appears to be a very active criminal case against the ex-president.

On Tuesday, a court ruled Congress can see the ex-president’s taxes, and everyone is wondering, what Trump has been hiding. The next day on Wednesday, the ex-president pleaded the Fifth Amendment for 6 hours. New York Attorney general Tish James is investigating the Trump Organization, and it appears there is financial fraud and violated tax, insurance, and banking laws.

Trump’s lawyers are starting to worry about the former president’s legal exposure to the riot on January 6^th. Several high-ranking White House officials were subpoenaed by the grand juries and the January 6^th investigation is still trying to make a connection to the Capitol riot and Trump.

With all the different investigations with the ex-president, it does not appear the Teflon president will be able to walk free with all these legal problems. A search warrant of his home was historic, and included probable cause suggesting Trump violated other laws, such as obstruction, insurrection, sedition, and more.

The immediate release of Trump’s taxes also comes as he and his family members sit for depositions as part of New York’s attorney general investigation. The Justice Department appears to be putting pressure on Trump and his issues with the January 6^th investigation. It would appear difficult for the ex-president to get a good sleep each night.

“Look, we pursue justice without fear or favor. We intend to hold everyone, anyone who was criminally responsible for the events surrounding January 6, for any attempt to interfere with the lawful transfer of power from one administration to another, accountable, that’s what we do,” says Attorney General Merrick Garland.

The Global G- 20 Nations Respect President’s Biden Leadership

“Fresh off a win on Saturday with a global corporate tax agreement, and some progress toward restoring the nuclear accord with Iran, President Biden returned on the final day of the Group of 20 summit on Sunday facing far more difficult challenges, including pressure to take stronger action on climate change and to make concrete progress on delivering Covid vaccines to the poorest countries,” says Jim Tankersley, reporter of the New York Times.

This is the first time since the pandemic, that the 20 wealthiest nations in the world got together, and there was a new leader in the United States. The summit was located in Rome, and many members who attended, “declared the gathering a success.”

Many of the members are upset with different members with personal issues, and there is a widening divide in the G-20. Many of the members say that many of the leader countries have hoarded vaccines, and squandered decades of opportunities to slow the warming of the planet.

“Also on Saturday, Mr. Biden met with Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany and Prime Minister Boris Johnson of Britain to discuss rejoining the 2015 Iran nuclear pact, which Ex-President Donald Trump abandoned. The different leaders are saying they welcome President Biden’s clearly demonstrated commitment to return the U.S. to full compliance with the agreement,” says Mr. Tankersley.

It is obvious that with new leadership, the United State can be considered a leader again on the world stage.  President Trump was considered confusion and it was obvious, he was destroying our creditability as a global leader.

President Biden has staked the success of his presidency on consensus at home and aboard.  President Biden has made the comment that the polls are not important to him, because they have a tendency to go up and down, and can change with no reason.  But his approval numbers in America are the worst, than any other president than Trump.

Many are blaming the Democrats, because of Senator Joe Manchin and, Senator Kysten Sinema, but the different factions in the party are also fighting each other. The progressives refuse to pass an infrastructure bill, without a reconciliation bill. It is obvious that Biden needs a win, with a 42% job approval rating.

As things continue to get harder to pass a bill in the Senate with a filibuster, Biden must make some very tough decisions on every front nationally and internationally. President Biden and other leaders will travel to Glasgow for a United Nation climate conference.

The talks in Glasgow are known as COP20, and come as the United Nations warns of a looming climate catastrophe. The president struggles also include the battle to unify Democrats in Congress with the huge spending budget plan. Many Americans feel that the president did not have a good plan with the United States withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Everywhere Americans look President Biden is being challenged and some decisions can be criticized. The climate crisis in Glasgow does not recognize national borders, and many of the issues are global. There are no easy answers, but President Biden has the opportunity to fundamentally change the way Americans treat each other, and does business nationally and internationally.

It is too early to access the success of President Biden’s administration, but the passage of his bills can change America for generations.

Ex-President Trump Launching a New Media Company – Truth Social

“A company that doesn’t do any business saw its stock soar as much as 400% this week on word it would help launch Donald Trump social media platform,” says Hamza Shaban – reporter of the Washington Post.

SPACs are shell companies that allow groups of investors to raise money, and then take a private company public. These companies bypass the rigorous process of a traditional IPO, and they raise pools of cash, and the company is given a blank check. This really started in 2019 with only 59 companies, and last year there were 248 new companies, and this year there are 350 SPACs worth 100 billion dollars so far.

Ex-President Trump is pitching his new social media network as an upstart rival to the Big Tech companies, and he will not have to use his own money. Digital World Acquisition Corp is partnering with other investors, and placing a value of Trump’s new media company between 2 and 3 billion dollars. The date of the launch will be in the first quarter of 2022.

The ironic concept and name of Trumps new media platform is “Truth Social.” Everyone knows that Trump very rarely tells the truth, but he is suggesting that his new platform will focus on the truth. This is obviously a lie, but what else could we expect from him.

The entire idea of this new network is offensive and disgusting, and extremely frightening. Racism is alive and well, with millions of customers, there will be millions of foot soldiers for White Supremacy. The concept of the Critical Race Theory will probably be discussed on this platform, and White folks do not want to feel bad or guilty about their history.

With the majority of Americans being people of color, this network would be White centric, and be built on lies. The subject materials would be whitewashed, and it will be grounded on White Supremacy when launched.

The Critical Race Theory is forcing White people to lie to their children. “The primary argument for the Critical Race Theory is that history should not be taught in a way that makes White kids feel bad. What? We should whitewash US history to protect the feelings of white children? Excuse me, I misspoke – we should whitewash US history even more than we already do in order to protect the feelings of white children,” says Toure – reporter of The Grio.

On the other hand, Black people and people of color are teaching their children the truth about the atrocities committed by White people against our ancestors during slavery. There is a brutal and tragic history of America, and I wonder how White people will hide this reality from their children.

“And the past is not done with us – slavery created the economy and wealth that led to America becoming a global economic power. You didn’t have to own slaves in order to participate in that wealth building but all the wealth derived from it went to white people, and was thus stolen from Black people,” says Toure.

It is very easy for White people to lie, because they make up a tenth of all the people in the world. In America, White people violated treaties, and slaughtered the natives already here. It is very difficult to tell the children the truth about the history of the country, so again it is easy to lie.

There is a pool of investors and money to launch this new social media platform – named Truth Social. The proper name for this platform, from my perspective should have been “lies incorporated.”
